School visits are carefully structured, easy to supervise and designed to keep children engaged, active and smiling throughout the day
Most school bookings are exclusive hire, giving teachers peace of mind, controlled access and a relaxed environment for students to explore and play safely. Our experienced team is on hand at all times, and risk is minimised through enclosed areas, clear rules and simple session formats.
All Splashy Land attractions are proudly backed by Project Splashy , supporting children to dream big and build emotional strength through play, movement and imagination.
We offer free teacher tickets and complimentary tea and coffee for staf, so teachers can enjoy the day alongside their students. Located entirely within Barking Park, schools can also extend their visit with playground time, group games or picnics, making it a full and rewarding school trip.

What school visit packages are available?
We offer a range of flexible school and nursery visit packages, with most bookings arranged as exclusive hire to ensure a safe and private experience.
Splash Park offers a 90-minute splashing session with inspiring crafts and a mini disco with Splashy, priced at £7 per student, with a minimum payment of £700 per session.
The Magical Unicorn Lake offers a 40-minute unicorn boat ride at £5 per student, with a minimum payment of £400 per session.
Unicorn Quest is a 60-minute interactive adventure priced at £7 per student, with a minimum payment of £400 per session.
Bounsea provides giant inflatable fun at £8 per student, with a minimum payment of £500 per session.
Bounce & Splash or Bounce & Sail combo experiences are available at £12 per student, with a minimum payment of £1,200 per session.
The VIP Package includes a full-day, all-in-one adventure plus ice cream for £18 per student, with a minimum payment of £1,500 per session.
Packages can be tailored to suit age groups, timings and group sizes.
What is your capacity for school groups?
The Splash Park can host up to 250 students per 90-minute session. The Magical Unicorn Lake can accommodate up to 80 students per 60-minute session. Bounsea can host up to 70 students per 60-minute session.
Larger schools can be split into groups rotating between attractions, with free time in the park playground included between sessions.

At the Splash Park, students enjoy free water play alongside inspirational animation and a mini disco with Splashy, encouraging joyful expression and social interaction.

Unicorn Quest develops problem-solving, collaboration and self-belief through a story-led adventure.
All experiences are screen-free, outdoors and designed to create shared memories students talk about long after the visit.
What are the benefits for teachers and schools?
Most school visits are booked as exclusive hire, providing controlled access, safe enclosed areas and minimal risk. Sessions are easy to supervise and clearly structured.
We offer free teacher places with supervision ratios of 1 adult per 5 children for under-5s and 1 adult per 10 children for ages 5–15. Teachers also enjoy a free tea and coffee station on site.

How do we make a booking?
To make a booking, simply choose your preferred attraction, select an available date and follow the online booking process. Payment can be made either by card online or via invoice
If you choose to pay by invoice, our friendly admin team will contact you to finalise the booking details. Please note that minimum payments apply per attraction per session. If you are unable to reach the minimum, contact us at info@splashandboatsltd.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate your group.
What if I don’t see an available date?
If you don’t see a suitable date available online, please email us at info@splashandboatsltd.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that most school visits are arranged as exclusive hire, which takes place outside of our public operating hours (weekends, bank holidays and school holidays).
What do students need to bring with them?
For the Splash Park, we recommend students wear swimwear underneath their clothes so they can change quickly. Lockers are available but limited, so this helps save time for larger groups.
For Bounsea, students should wear comfortable sports clothing and bring standard socks.
All students should bring water to drink and sun protection on warm days

What facilities are available on site?
Public toilets are available within Barking Park.
A kiosk offering refreshments is available.
Qualified first aiders are on site at all attractions.
Changing rooms
How do we get there, and where can coaches stop?
Splashy Land is located within Barking Park. There is no direct postal address for the attractions.
Two car parks are available. The free car park is accessed via South Park Drive (postcode IG11 8FF), which is also the best location for coach drop-off and pick-up. A paid car park is accessed via Longbridge Road (postcode IG11 8TA).
What if we are running late?
If your group is running late, please don’t worry. Our team will do their best to accommodate you. If all session windows are fully booked, your group will be admitted for the remaining time of your scheduled session.

What happens to lost property after our visit?
Any lost property found after your visit will be kept on site. If something is missing, please email info@splashandboatsltd.co.uk and our team will check for you.
