One Big Bounce for the Whole Family
Are you ready to jump, bounce and laugh like never before? Welcome to Bounsea, a gigantic outdoor inflatable adventure located in the heart of Barking Park, East London. Spanning over 500 square metres, Bounsea is one of the largest inflatable playgrounds in the area and a must-visit attraction for active families.
Designed for both children and adults, Bounsea offers a safe and interactive experience with something for every age. The inflatable features a dedicated baby zone, exciting slides, a climbing wall, a challenge track and a variety of colourful obstacles that keep everyone moving and smiling throughout the session.
Bounsea isn’t just about fun — it’s also a brilliant way to stay active. Parents are welcome to join in, with sessions offering a high-energy workout that can burn up to 600 calories, making it one of the most enjoyable ways to exercise together as a family.
Once your bouncing adventure comes to an end, the fun continues just steps away. Cool off at the Splash Park, try the exciting Walk-on-Water balls, or set sail on The Magical Unicorn Lake for a more relaxed experience. With attractions located next to each other, it’s easy to turn your visit into a full family day out.
Booking is essential. Please note that Bounsea operates weather-dependent from April to September, so we recommend checking availability and booking online in advance for the best prices.

Bounsea
What are the benefits of Bounsea?
Bounsea supports physical fitness, balance and resilience through high-energy play. Jumping, climbing and navigating obstacles helps children develop strength, coordination and confidence, while adults can join in and stay active too. Bounsea encourages children to challenge themselves, try new things and feel proud of what they achieve.
All Splashy Land attractions are proudly backed by Project Splashy, supporting children to dream big and build emotional strength through play, movement and imagination. For behind-the-scenes updates and magical moments, visit @projectsplashy, and for inspiration and fun, follow @itssplashyofficial on Instagram.
What are your operating times?
Our season begins with the Magical Unicorn Lake and Bounsea opening for the Easter School Holidays, starting on 28 March 2026. The Splash Park joins later once the weather warms up, with its grand opening planned for the weekend of 23 May 2026, weather permitting.
Open on weekends, public holidays, school holidays and sunny weekdays during term time. When the weather is especially good, we may add extra opening days. Please check our Opening Times page before your visit, as availability may change depending on weather conditions.
Bounsea runs 40-minute sessions every hour from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
How long does a Bounsea session last?
Each session lasts 40 minutes, giving plenty of time for bouncing, sliding and burning off energy.
Who can bounce? Is there an age limit?
Bounsea is designed for ages 1 to 100. There is a dedicated baby zone, an open play area for families, and a larger obstacle course for more confident bouncers.
For the obstacle course, climbing tower and slide, a minimum height of 1.2 metres applies. Anyone under this height may participate only when accompanied by an adult and under their responsibility. As the obstacle course is physically demanding, we recommend taking it easy on your first round.
To ensure a safe and relaxed environment for toddlers, the 10:00 am and 12:00 pm sessions are reserved exclusively for toddlers aged 1–5 and their parents or carers. All children aged 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
For the rest of the day, sessions are open to children aged 1–15, with parents and carers welcome to join in the fun.
Who can purchase a ticket, and is a waiver required?
Tickets can only be purchased by adults aged 18 or over. An online waiver must be completed and signed on behalf of all participants before bouncing.
What add-ons are available?
Complete your visit with our Walk-on-Water Ball experience. Tickets cost £6 when booked online or £8 on site. You can also add water and ice cream to your booking, with the best prices available online.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your session start time. Tickets will be checked on arrival, so have them printed or ready to display on your mobile phone.

The park’s gardens are ideal for relaxing walks and enjoying nature.
Tickets
Can I buy tickets on site or are they only available online?
A very limited number of tickets may be available on site, but sessions often sell out, especially during busy periods and warm weather. To guarantee entry, we strongly recommend booking online, where you’ll find the best prices and occasional special offers. Follow us on social media at @splashylanduk and sign up to our newsletter for exclusive deals.
Can I get a refund on pre-booked tickets?
All tickets are non-refundable; however, they can be rescheduled up to two hours before your session start time for another available session during the season. It is the visitor’s responsibility to monitor the weather and decide whether conditions are suitable.
What if I’m late?
If you arrive late for your Bounsea session, please don’t worry. Our team will do their best to accommodate you as quickly as possible, subject to availability and safety considerations.
What if it’s raining?
Bounsea operates weather dependent. Light rain may not affect sessions, but in cases of heavy rain or unsafe conditions, sessions may be delayed or rescheduled. If rain is forecast, we recommend rescheduling your visit up to two hours before your session start time.
